Ladies Auxiliary
The Ladies Auxiliary was originally formed in 1905 as a separate women’s group supporting the mission of Seaside Park Yacht Club. These pioneers created a venue which supported the club thru service and beautification.
The Ladies Auxiliary has a long history of volunteerism specifically dedicated to improving the club's community and facilities. This is traditionally accomplished via various fundraising efforts, social events and beautification projects. Today's Ladies Auxiliary still honors this mission and rich traditions.
The Ladies Auxiliary, led by Terri Sayia and Lynne Wilson, along with their Bi-laws committee spent countless hours over several summers researching the group’s history and constitution documents which outlined the governance of the Ladies Auxiliary. In 2019, the Ladies Auxiliary revised and updated their foundation and rules documents along with their current objective to foster sociability, enhance the beautification of the Club through fundraising and promote the general prosperity of the club.
The Ladies Auxiliary is open to all members of the Seaside Park Yacht Club. Current membership has over 90 ladies.
